Where the numbers come from, what each field is, and how fresh it is.
Where the data comes from
viralshooter polls YouTube's most-popular charts in 20 regions and stores the videos and channels on them, with their numbers over time. Tools read that stored copy. They show the charts viralshooter tracks, not YouTube as a whole.
New chart entries are picked up every 6 hours. Video numbers are refreshed by age:

Numbers over time are kept for 30 days. whoami returns the time of the last update.
The meta object
Every tool response carries meta:

Some other fields describe what viralshooter observed and are not listed in calculated: regions, isNew, firstSeenAt, lastSeenAt, snaps, computedAt, the charts entries of get_video, the channel fields charted, chartedViews, viewsGain7d, uploadsGain7d, and hashtag counts. lang is the declared language, normalized.
Fields with no value are left out of the response rather than sent as null.
