Server overview
The viralshooter MCP server at a glance.
viralshooter runs a remote Model Context Protocol server. AI apps connect to it with a URL and sign the user in with OAuth.

What it can and cannot do
- It reads what viralshooter has stored: the YouTube charts it polls in 20 regions, the videos and channels on them, and their numbers over time.
- It never calls YouTube. Nothing an agent does spends YouTube quota or reaches YouTube.
- It cannot write: no posting, buying, account changes or anything on YouTube. Every tool carries
readOnlyHint: trueandopenWorldHint: false. - It answers as the signed-in user, with that user's access.
Server instructions
The server gives clients these instructions:
What is going viral on the YouTube charts viralshooter tracks (20 regions). Read-only: tools never post, buy, or call YouTube. Numbers come from our stored copy of the YouTube API; fields under meta.calculated are ours, not YouTube's.
