About the data

Where the answers come from, how fresh they are, and what your AI can and can't do.

Where the answers come from

viralshooter reads YouTube's charts of popular videos in 20 regions and keeps a copy of the videos and channels on them. Your AI reads that copy. So it knows about videos that charted in those regions, not every video on YouTube.

Views, likes and comments are YouTube's own numbers. Anything viralshooter works out itself, like views per hour, is marked as ours, and your AI can tell you which is which.

How fresh it is

New videos' numbers are updated about every hour, and less often as videos get older. New chart entries are picked up every six hours. History is kept for 30 days. Ask your AI "how fresh is the data?" to see the last update.

What your AI can and can't do

Your AI can only read. It can't post, buy anything, change your account or do anything on YouTube. It acts as you, through your own viralshooter account.

Behind each answer, your AI makes one or more lookups, like a search on the charts. Each account can make 60 lookups a minute. That is plenty for normal use. If your AI says it hit the limit, wait a minute and ask again.
